Watou is the name of a picturesque village in the Westhoek, where art and regional specialties complement each other. The oldest history of the cheese factory in Moorslede goes back to the St-Bernardus dairy brewery in Watou. Each Flemish village then had its own dairy and brewery. In Watou, both craft businesses were housed in the same building.
