The Selles-sur-Cher is a French goat cheese. It is made in the valley of the Cher, hence the name of this cheese. The molds on the rind of this cheese have developed naturally, promoted by salted charcoal. The rind of this cheese is deep blue-black and the dairy is white and firm.

This cheese is made from raw goat's milk, so it is not suitable for pregnant women.
