Product description

The cheese is produced by the Grugg and Furno families in Tipperary, Ireland. They also make the Cashel Blue and in 1993 together with their cousin, who has a sheep farm, created the Crozier Blue. To this day it is the only one of its kind in Ireland. A complete cheese weighs approximately 1.4kg. The name “Crozier” refers to the angular staff that both shepherds and bishops carry. In the nearby “Rock of Cashel” you can also find an image of the “Crozier” of St Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland.

The Crozier Blue is a blue cheese made from pasteurized sheep's milk. The Crozier Blue has a full, sweet and rich mouthfeel with notes of salt and roasted nuts.
